~Brazil~

It is a position of the front line and they are FW and the top as used in the field of soccer. A position is mainly taken before the goal and it moves focusing on an attack. With PIVO, it has the meaning of "clearing and breaking through a tip."

Futsal history

The history of futsal is explained this time.
It is said that there are the two origins of futsal. First, one is "Saloon football" which has developed centering on South America. Saloon football is a ball which does not bounce and "saloon football" was devised in Uruguay in 1930. Moreover, the same thing was devised even in Brazil.
Then, it spread to the South America whole region. From 1965, Copa America was held and it was continued till 1979. An international saloon football league (FIFUSA) will be established in 1961, The world saloon football championship was held in Sao Paulo in 1982.Behind, it became a world futsal association.
Another is the "Indoor soccer" which originated from mother country Britain of soccer and spread to Europe, the United States, Australia, etc. Indoor soccer is a game held also using a wall using the same ball as ordinary soccer. A rule and a name are also various by countries. In Europe, it carried out based on the rule of the Netherlands, and UEFA aimed at rule unification of indoor soccer.

Because futsal become not dirty with the ground unlike soccer. "ATHLETA" is the most famous brand also in it. It is a sports brand famous for the uniform of futsal.Because it is known for these days also as a foppish sports brand, aren't there many people who have used regularly?"ATHLETA" was traditional brand by whom it was used from the first also for the uniform of the representative team of Brazil of soccer for a long time. Although "ATHLETA" of head family Brazil had been lost temporarily in the 1980s, it revived in Japan late in the 90s.

What is "Futsal"?

"Futsal" is the coined word made from Portuguese "sala" showing the interior of a room and Spanish "futbol" of the  showing soccer. FIFA (Federation Internationale de Football Association) unified the rule and game name of the mini-soccer in each country of Europe or South America in 1994.
 When it says very simply, originally are a sport performed indoors like the mini-soccer of a five-person system. But now, it is performed by the outdoor artificial lawn or a gymnasium in Japan

The rule is devised unlike soccer. For example,

・There is no offside.

 It is very hard to understand the rule of offside.

・A player's change can be performed freely in front of bench.

・The ball of futsal is small and difficult to bound compared with soccer. It becomes easy to carry out a play.But the person familiar to soccer will be greatly bewildered by the difference in the bound.
・A throw in is not carried out.
 Futsal is restarted by kick in.Therefore, a chance can be directed if it will be from where.
・There is no goal kick.
Although the ball which broke the goal line serves as a goal kick in soccer, this also becomes slow in futsal. 
・Contact plays, such as a sliding tackle are considered as a foul. Although a soccer player may slip in a peculiarity, the act itself serves as foul and he becomes a direct free kick.
