What is "Futsal"?

"Futsal" is the coined word made from Portuguese "sala" showing the interior of a room and Spanish "futbol" of the  showing soccer. FIFA (Federation Internationale de Football Association) unified the rule and game name of the mini-soccer in each country of Europe or South America in 1994.
 When it says very simply, originally are a sport performed indoors like the mini-soccer of a five-person system. But now, it is performed by the outdoor artificial lawn or a gymnasium in Japan
(The size of a pitch is about 1/8 of soccer)
                                                                                                    

The rule is devised unlike soccer. For example,
There is no offside.
 It is very hard to understand the rule of offside.
A player's change can be performed freely in front of bench.
The ball of futsal is small and difficult to bound compared with soccer. It becomes easy to carry out a play.But the person familiar to soccer will be greatly bewildered by the difference in the bound.
A throw in is not carried out.
 Futsal is restarted by kick in.Therefore, a chance can be directed if it will be from where.
There is no goal kick.
Although the ball which broke the goal line serves as a goal kick in soccer, this also becomes slow in futsal. 
Contact plays, such as a sliding tackle are considered as a foul. Although a soccer player may slip in a peculiarity, the act itself serves as foul and he becomes a direct free kick. 

 As written in the above, different from soccer and futsal. Therefore, popularity came out as a sport in which a junior, persons of middle or advanced age, and a woman can also participate easy.
